Room Scheduling Policies & Procedures


Rooms may be reserved for regular ministry activities(rehearsal, meetings) during building hours which are 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Reservations for rooms and ministry activities before and/or after these hours requires specific approval from the Pastor.


Please Note: Special situations may arise which result in room changes, confirmation delays, and/or cancelations. In the event this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible. Changes to configuration of rooms must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.


Scheduling Priorities

GROUP A: Official Church events (services, ministry programs/meetings/rehearsals)

GROUP B: Personal events (weddings, showers, anniversary, birthday celebrations, etc.) “sponsored” and attended by CLBC members, who have been attending CLBC regularly as their exclusive church home for 1 year.

GROUP C: Community events sponsored by all other persons (weddings, birthday celebrations, recovery groups, etc.).

GROUP D: Use for business. (External spiritual and community organization)

Room Scheduling Procedures

All requests should be made at least TWO WEEKS prior to your event, although we’d prefer more notice. Any request made within two weeks of an event will be accommodated as much as possible, but not guaranteed.

All requests for rooms must be approved in advance.

The Property Scheduler will put a “hold” on the calendar once we receive your request and deposit, if applicable. You will receive a room confirmation email upon the Pastor final approval, which can take up to 72 hrs.  Your room is not reserved until you receive this confirmation.

Please email form to:   ATTN: Sandra Brown or bring form to the Trustee Office located on the first floor.  Timely submission of the form ensure proper calendaring and processing.

Incomplete or illegible forms will result in delays in processing or rejection of request.

A Room Confirmation Report will be returned to requested for all approved requests.



Read the Confirmation EMAIL carefully! Changes to the request will be noted on thEMAIL. The printed email supersedes any verbal commitments.

Please include any special needs or clarifications in the comments section of the form as the room scheduling office assumes nothing.

Please be sure to read your confirmation letters immediately upon receipt  and report any discrepancies so they may be addressed as soon as possible.  Changes to rooms, dates or times may have been made by the room scheduling office in order to maximize efficient use of facilities.  Failure to read and understand confirmations in a timely fashion may cause confusion and we rather easily avoid misunderstandings.
